Kim Kardashian's New Haircut

Kim Kardashian's has her new cut now! When I saw the screaming headline "KIM KARDASHIAN CHOPS OFF HER HAIR!" on usweekly.com, I fully expected a pixie—not what my stylist would call "a good clean-up." Actually, yes, she took off at least a few inches, but because her hair was mermaid-Halloween-wig long before, after the cut...it remains really long.

However, it looks very good. The hair always looks healthier than before after a significant trim.

In my eyes, as a lady, having long hair can add scores for her beauty. Especially the long, straighten, shiny hair. In fact, if you want have long, straighten and shiny hair, it is very easy for you to get it. But the premise is that you should have long hair. Then you could straighten your hair with a SEDU flat iron. SEDU flat irons are of high quality, you don’t worry about your hair being damaged because they use a special ceramic called tourmaline. This special stone can actually release negative ions when heated. This is important because it is thought that these negative ions prevent hair from being damaged by the heat. The real benefit is that ceramic flat irons can straighten hair in less time. For a sedu hair straightener, it can often flatten your hair in half the time of other regular straighteners.

I'm guessing that even friends and colleagues in regular contact with the star, but who don't follow Kardashian on Twitter (or around with a camera all day), might not have even noticed the cut had it not been reported on the interweb.

False advertising aside, the truth is that my favorite kind of makeovers is the mini-ones that it takes coworkers a full week to recognize. When someone says to themselves, "There's something different..." but can't put their finger on it that a woman took her hair barely a shade darker or changed how she lines her eyes. Remember when Jennifer Aniston not-so-shockingly went blonder? Or when Fergie started growing out her eyebrows? Like Kardashian's cut, both of those looks were great, but wouldn't be picked up right away on an average Jane by anyone but her closest friends, or her similarly-monikered sisters.
